  Connect your Scarlett to your computer using the USB cable and you’ll be able to select it as the input and output device for your system (System Preferences > Sound) and as the input and output device in your recording software. This compatibility information applies to Windows 10 version 20H2. This applies to systems with Intel/AMD processors, ARM-based systems are not supported and may not work. Please see below a run-down of Focusrite product compatibility with Windows 10 as it currently stands. We would strongly recommend checking that your computer/motherboard is. Going into Device Manager without the driver installed shows "Scarlett 2i2" with no drivers. It wont recognise any driver, even searching in the Focusrite Programs folder. So I cannot install it this way. If I install the driver with the Installer, and plug the Scarlett in, it doesn't even appear in Device Manager.
